Ryo Saeba and Kenshiro will be Joining the Roster of Jump Force

By Zachery PaikaiOctober 25, 2018
Ryo Saeba from City Hunter in Jump Force.

Paris Games Week 2018 has brought us a brand new announcement trailer for the colossal Shonen Jump crossover fighter, Jump Force. And this latest trailer has revealed some old-school flavor with the unveiling of Ryo Saeba of City Hunter and Kenshiro of Fist of the North Star. There’s even some footage of a yet to be seen stage in there too.

These oldie anime/manga characters are fantastic additions to the roster. Kenshiro isn’t all too surprising of a pick, but I’m extremely pleased to see him. His Hokuto Shinken mastery, as well as his classic “Atatatatatatata!”, are always warmly welcomed. And I’m actually unfamiliar with Ryo Saeba and his place of origin from City Hunter. Though I think I’ll go ahead and check out City Hunter in the near future.

All in all, Jump Force’s roster is in fine shape, but where are my beautiful Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure characters? Are there any characters you’re still expecting and or hoping for? Let’s hear them in comments below.

Jump Force will be released February 15, 2019, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

From the Hawaiian islands, Nanaue, the Prince of Sharks first appeared. This shark man was uncontested in terms of video game prowess. His notoriety of being a top-tier game wiz angered the envious locals and eventually forced Nanaue into exile. His hunger for competition and game knowledge grew as time past. This in tow, leads him to delve into the sea of writing and gaming culture.
