New info on new Devil May Cry 5 modes; Nero’s Devil Breakers in action

During the Devil May Cry 5 PAX West panel, we ended up finding out some more information about the title.

Not only did we get to see some of the early designs of Nico, but also got to see more of Nero in action. More detailed information on Nero’s Devil Breakers, which includes an overpowered Blue Rose and Red Queen combo in action. Footage of those moves can be seen below.

In addition to this, we also heard for the first time that Devil May Cry 5 will feature several new modes. A photo and gallery mode, so you can take favorite photos and manipulate them. A training mode, which fans of the series have asked about for quite some time. Now you can work on those stylish combos without worrying about dropping them in game. While we did get to see the gallery mode in action, the photo mode and the training mode were only mentioned.

We also heard about a mode that was briefly talked about that will provide newcomers to the series with the history and lore of Devil May Cry. That’s really exciting for those who are only just jumping into the series. Kudos to Capcom for thinking about that.

Sadly, those looking to get a look at Dante were left disappointed as Capcom was sticking to its guns. No new information or footage of Dante until the 2018 Tokyo Game Show, which takes place and the end of September 2018. We’ll just have to wait until then to see how old man Dante is doing. Still no word on when we’ll hear more about the 3rd playable character.

You can check out those designs and footage of several weapons that Nero displayed during the panel, below.
