Hi-Rez Studios Opens Three Separate Dev Teams for their Games

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieAugust 16, 2018

With Realm Royale blowing up and the demands that SMITE and Paladins require, Hi-Rez Studios made the decision to create three different development studios for their games on Tuesday.

The company announced that Paladins‘ development team will be known as Evil Mojo Games, SMITE‘s team as Titan Forge Games and Realm Royale‘s team will be known as Heroic Leap Games. Each of these studios will be wholly-owned subsidiaries of Hi-Rez Games and will be overseen by a general manager – Chris Larson, the former executive producer of SMITE and Paladins, who said the following about the establishment of the new studios:

The establishment of Titan Forge, Heroic Leap and Evil Mojo as standalone studios enables each of our development teams to fulfill their maximum potential and stay hyper-focused on serving their individual player communities. Our games are built to provide near constant updates over many years. By giving each major game its own dedicated studio and identity, we empower them to control their own destiny and focus exclusively on their player communities.

Despite public opinion and history of Hi-Rez’s support of their previous games, the support for Paladins, SMITE and Realm Royale have been pretty consistent as of late, with the community managers always keeping players up to date with any changes or issues with the game.
