SEGA releases the fifth and final Sonic Mania Adventures short

By Keith MitchellJuly 17, 2018
Final sonic mania adventures short

Sadly, with the release of SEGA’s Sonic Mania Plus, so ends the Sonic Mania Adventure shorts. It’s here that we finally see Sonic, Tails, Mighty, Ray and a really ticked off Knuckles, together for the first time. Of course, they’re squaring off against Dr. Eggman and Mecha Sonic. An interesting showdown with a smashing conclusion, for sure.

I really hope SEGA decides to greenlight more of these shorts. The animation style was fun and vivid, while we got to see Sonic in crew outside of the game. C’mon, SEGA. We need more of these! Oh, and make sure you check on Tails.

Sonic Mania Plus is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and the Switch. For current Sonic Mania owners, you can download the Encore DLC for just $5. Of course, if you love Sonic merch, then perhaps you should pick up the Sonic Mania Plus package. For $30, you’re getting not only physical edition but also a nice reversible cover and an artbook.
