SDCC 2018: Wait, Isn’t Spider-Man Supposed To Be The Good Guy?

By Keith MitchellJuly 19, 2018

Here comes the wanted Spider-Man

We all know Spider-Man, right? He’s mild-mannered Peter Parker (or Ben Reilly) and he’s just a stand-up guy. He stands up for those who can’t defend themselves and tries to live his life to the fullest. He’s always the guy. Except when he isn’t, as we found out in the upcoming Spider-Man game for the PS4.

Yep, in the recent story trailer released, we find out that Spider-Man is on the wrong side of the law. Sure, he’s a vigilante, but now he’s really on the bad side now. See, the major of the New York just happens to be Norman Osborn. He wants the best for the city and its people. So he does what any mayor would do, hire Silver Sable to keep the piece and makes Spider-Man an enemy of the people. Spider-Man, a bad guy? Boo this man!

Check out the trailer and see for your self.

A nice look at the game and it provides a bit of backstory that we didn’t know of before. We also got a chance to check out MJ (yes, that was her) and Miles Morales. One of which is playable, I just won’t tell you who it is. This also confirms that Silver Sable also appears in the game. As for Norman Osborn is in the game, will we see him decked os the Green Goblin? I guess we’ll have to wait for the game to be released to find out.

I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for this game to drop on September 7, 2018, exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
