SDCC 2018: ‘The Man in the High Castle’ Gets New Trailer for Season 3

By Sara Roncero-MenendezJuly 22, 2018

Many fans wondered just when Amazon would be renewing their adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s The Man in the High Castle. Season 2 left fans on a cliffhanger, with Juliana meeting the titular Man, Smith being hailed as a hero, a failed terrorist attack in California, and a sister back from the dead…sort of.

Finally, we’ve gotten a look at what’s next to come for this dark and dangerous alternate reality:

As we can see in the trailer, the Third Reich has devised a machine that is set to open up the door to the other dimension, which is the world that we live in. This means that the number one mission of the show will be to stop them from breaching into the other world. We see Juliana imprisoned, the films being shown to more and more people, and the Nazis realizing that there are beings from other dimensions.

But for those worried that this season may be it’s last, have no fear – they announced that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season. This means that we’ll be seeing more of these characters very soon and hopefully figuring out how or why these two worlds are connected.

The Man in the High Castle Season 3 premieres on Amazon Prime on October 5, 2018.

A reporter by trade, Sara is a lover of horror, sci-fi, and all things pop culture. From indies to classics to even the strangest schlock, all movies and TV shows are fair game. She believes Batman is the most fascinating superhero, and that Silent Hill is one of the best horror franchises ever made (as long as you don't count the movies). Fun Fact: The only movie Sara will not rewatch is The Room -- once was more than enough.
