Salt and Sanctuary heads to the Switch in August

After making the rounds on the PS4 and PC, the 2D Soulslike title, Salt and Sanctuary, is now headed to the Nintendo Switch. Set for an August 2nd release date, Nintendo Switch owners are about to experience they first Soulslike experience. You know, since Dark Souls Remastered is still somewhere in limbo.

The title will see a digital release and will be priced at $17.99. A physical release, Salt and Sanctuary: Drowned Tome Edition, is planned for Q4 2018 release date.

So, if you’re tired of waiting on Dark Souls Remastered and who can blame you. Definitely give this a try. I’ve played it on the PS4 and couldn’t put it down until I beat. But believe me, when I say this, the game is tough. Like, toss your Switch into the wall, tough. Though, I’m sure you have the rational sense not to do that, right? Right? I also didn’t see any mention on how the co-op will work on the Switch. We’ve reached out to the devs to see if it will be included and how it works on the Switch.

With Chasm, Dead Cells and now Salt and Sanctuary, all making appearances on the Switch within days of each other. Looks like the Switch is going to be the home of the Metroidvania’s for a lot of gamers. Enjoy!
