Sunrise and Legendary Pictures announced at the 2018 Anime Expo that the popular mech series Gundam will be getting a live-action movie adaptation! The announcement was made by Sunrise President and CEO Yasuo Miyakawa. There was a teaser video showed at the panel along with the announcement that production on the film had begun. Unfortunately, no other details such as cast, story, or release time frame have been announced.
