Anime Expo 2018: Frontwing Details Anime for Grisaia: Phantom Trigger

During Anime Expo, Frontwing announced an anime adaptation of the Grisaia: Phantom Trigger visual novel series. While no specific time has been announced, it is slated to air in 2018 with streaming of the show on multiple platforms. The anime is also slated to debut at the same time worldwide.

The seiyuu cast has also been revealed which contains many names from the visual novel returning to reprise their roles:

  • Maaya Uchida as Rena Fukami
  • Ayane Sakura as Touka Shishigaya
  • Kaori Nazuka as Sakurako Christina Kujirase
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Ikoma Murasaki
  • Mikako Izawa as Shiori Arisaka
  • Yoshino Nanjo as Maki Inohara
  • Suzuko Mimori as Megumi Kumashiro
  • Juri Nagatsuma as Sylvia
  • Chiaki Omigawa as Velvet

MyAnimeList.net describes Grisaia: Phantom Trigger as follows:

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger takes place after the existing Grisaia trilogy, and features a completely new group of heroines as well as a new protagonist. The story follows a class of students at Mihama Academy, which has been converted by anti-terror organization CIRS into a “specialist training school” for a new generation of operatives.
