Kill la Kill Receives A Video Game

By Josh PiedraJune 16, 2018
Kill la Kill

Studio Trigger announced that they are working with game publisher Arc System Works to create an action game based off of Kazuki Nakashima and Ryo Akizuki’s Kill la Kill manga/anime series. The game will be called Kill la Kill -if- and is slated to release at some point in 2019. While Arc System Works will be publishing the game, APLUS will be the studio responsible for developing it.

The only details we know about the game thus far is that it can be played with one or two players and that more details about the game will be unveiled at this year’s Anime Expo on July 6 during Studio Trigger’s industry panel which is scheduled to happen at 5:30 pm PDT.

APLUS has been known for the Little Witch Academia game while Arc System Works has been responsible for publishing the popular fighting games Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Arc System Works has also recently partnered with Bandai Namco to work on Dragon Ball FighterZ.
