Hero Shooter Paladins Is Headed To The Nintendo Switch

By Keith MitchellJune 7, 2018

Hi-Rez’s popular hero shooter, Paladins, is now making its way to the Nintendo Switch on June 12, per today’s announcement. In addition to the launch date, Hi-Rez also claimed that the Switch version will support cross-play with the Xbox One version of the title. According to the trailer, the game will also feature 60FPS gameplay. However, there’s no word on the resolution.

Now while the game has been officially outed, there was no shortage of speculation that the game was headed to the Switch. Especially since Paladins was heavily rumored to make an appearance on the system, alongside several other titles such as Fortnite. So it’s nice to see that the rumor has some truth behind it after all.

Paladins on the Switch will be sold in the form of a Founder’s Pack, priced at $29.99. It will include all of the current playable champions, future champions, and some exclusive cosmetic in-game content. A free to play version of the game will be released at a later date.

This is great news, as we’ll be able to take Paladin’s on the road or where your travels take you. Looks like I’m going to have to pick up another Nintendo Switch.
