Dragon Ball FighterZ for The Switch Is Set For A September 28th Release Date

By Keith MitchellJune 21, 2018

During E3 2018, Bandai Namco made the wishes of just about every Nintendo Switch fan come true, by announcing that Dragon Ball FighterZ was coming to the platform. Today, they announced the release date which is September 28, 2018.

The Switch version will include motion controls. So you’ll be able to waggle those Joy-Cons as you recreate your favorite moves from the anime. In addition, if you pre-order you’ll score classic Japanese version of the DRAGON BALL Z: Super Butoden video game that debuted on the Super Famicom. This is exclusive to the Switch release of the game. You’ll also snag early access to SSGSS Goku & Vegeta. Trust me, getting those two in the game is a task in its self.

Sadly, there isn’t any crossplay for the game. But seeing how the Switch basically flies off the shelves, I doubt there will be any issues fighting any matches. Both at home or on the go.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is already available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Switch owners will be able to join in the fun once September 28th, 2018, rolls around.
