The Netflix Castlevania animated series has possibly been given the green light for a third season. The news came from Digital Spy who spoke to Richard Armitage, the voice actor for Trevor Belmont. The actor stated in a quote:

“We’re about to record a third. The second season hasn’t been aired yet, but we’re about to do a third.”

It’s not unheard of for production on a series to begin ahead of schedule, especially when it comes to animation. Even still, it seems a bit early as the second season, not only hasn’t aired yet, but it doesn’t even have a definitive release date at this time. What we do know about the second Castlevania season is that there will be eight episodes as opposed to the first season’s low four episode count. It will also focus on Trevor Belmont and Adrian Tepes (Alucard).
