Fortnite Gets It’s Vehicle In The Form Of A Shopping Cart

Um, ok. I guess it qualifies as a vehicle

Ever since Epic Games released the Battle Royale mode for Fortnite, there’s been one thing that people have been asked for. Vehicles! Sure, we can bounce really high and we even got a jetpack, but nothing beats having a vehicle and riding into battle.

Well, looks like they’re finally going to put one in the game, as a shopping cart.

Yep, a shopping cart. The very things that we all wanted to ride around in as a child (and even as adults). Upon logging into the game today, you’ll be greeted with the new updates, which includes a shopping cart. While they’re not in the game as of yet, it does state that they’re coming soon.

The description of the shopping cart says “Roll into battle alone or with a buddy”. Meaning that this will only seat two players. I wonder how it will handle the hills or the fact that it will be mostly on grassy plains.

Never mind the fact that I can’t see a shopping cart affording you much protection. Still, it does seem really cool that Epic Games is introducing them. If it helps me get around the map faster, then I’m all for it. I wonder if this means it can add more storage space as well. Hmmm….

Fortnite updates typically get released on Tuesday, so if it’s coming this week then chances are we’ll see it in the game tomorrow. And if not then, maybe around the time that E3 2018 rolls around?

Fortnite is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS. An Android is slated to be released in the near future.
