Dragon Ball FighterZ’s First Limited-Time Party Battle Mode Event Is This Weekend

Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting its first limited-time event.

Announced over on the official Bandai Namco YouTube channel, is a limited time event called “The Emperor Strikes Back”. Wait? Who the heck named this event?

This event will take place in the Party Event mode that was added in the last update and will be available until May 21 at 11 PM PDT / May 22 at 2 AM EDT. It will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. So everyone will be able to partake in the event.

Think of it as a horde mode, where three players can jump online and battle through waves of AI controlled enemies. This is a worldwide event, so the more people playing the game, the higher the body count gets.  Frieza will also appear throughout the event and players will be encouraged to defeat him as many times as possible. I mean, who doesn’t want to deck him in the schnoz over and over? Yes, that was a Teamfourstar reference and damn do I miss them.

Of course, you’ll be rewarded for your time in the form of premium coins, Zeni and possibly something else.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
