Syfy’s New Series ‘Deadly Class’ Makes Its Intriguing Trailer Debut

By Jacob SmithMay 20, 2018

We’ve received more information on Syfy’s new series Deadly Class in the form of an action-packed trailer from the show based on Rick Remender’s adored graphic novel. The show is being produced by the Russo brothers fresh off their massive Infinity War success, which bodes well for the unique tale.

Set in the eighties, Deadly Class tells the story of a teenager named Marcus Lopez (Benjamin Wadsworth) who is recruited into an elite school for assassins by Master Lin (Benedict Wong). Marcus’ trying teenage years are only exacerbated by the fact that he is constantly surrounded by dozens of other assassins in training, all trying to hone their craft and survive their most angst-filled time in life all at once as well. Not only will Joe and Anthony Russo be heading up the show, but it has been adapted for the small screen by Remender himself too. This should be an encouraging sign to fans of Deadly Class as clearly the title is in skilled hands who have immense love for the story to boot.

Check out the teaser presented by the Russo brothers down below, and be on the lookout for Deadly Class on Syfy next year.
