Mega Man Inspired Roguelike 20XX Is Headed To The PlayStation 4

20XX

20XX,  a roguelike take on the Mega Man formula is finally making its way over to the consoles. Created by Batterystaple Games and Fire House Games, 20xx will make its way over to the PlayStation 4.  While there isn’t an exact release date, it’s nice to know that more people will be able to try out the title.

Jump, dash, and fight through levels that fuse classic Mega Man-inspired design with optional cooperative gameplay and roguelike elements including procedurally-generated stages. This mix ensures every session plays out in new and exciting ways as players explore, collect power-ups, and take on mighty bosses.

Several of us here have played the game and have enjoyed the heck out of it. Thanks to the procedurally generated levels, tons of weapons to use and the same old formula that made games like Mega Man so much fun. Oh, did I mention it also has coop? Yep, and the coop action is so good! PlayStation 4 owners will definitely be in for a treat when this title finally launches on the platform.

And if you’re heading out to PAX East 2018, you’ll be to try your hand with the first public demo of 20xx running on the PlayStation 4. Just head on over to booth #16108 and tell them that The Outerhaven sent you!
