God Of War Gets Its First TV Spot

The hype train starts here

With God of War (2018) being released on April 20th, 2018. Sony has started the hype train and has already posted the first TV spot.

Sadly, this was all CG and no gameplay was shown off. Still, It’s nice to see Sony getting out front and getting Kratos and his son, Atreus, in front of those who weren’t aware of the title. This is a hype trailer, and I’m more than sure that this has generated its fair share of hype. I mean, I’m pretty hyped right now. Are you?

Unlike the previous titles, God of War (2018) is based on Norse mythology, and no longer on Greek mythology. The game forgoes the traditional cinematic camera and uses an over-the-shoulder view. Lastly, the infamous chain-blades are gone, replaced with axe called the Leviathan Axe. Something tells us that Kratos will be just as deadly with this as he was with the chain-blades.

God of War is playable on both the standard PS4 and the PS4 Pro. And while we haven’t played the title on the PS4 Pro, we’ve seen the footage of the game running on the platform and it’s simply amazing. We can’t wait to get our hands on it and we’re sure that you’re in the same boat.
