Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Has Gone Gold

By Keith MitchellFebruary 23, 2018
Ni No Kuni II on Xbox One

You ready for some Ni no Kuni II loving? Well, if you aren’t, you better be, as the game has finally gone gold. After two delays, the upcoming JRPG from Bandai Namco and Level 5 is releasing on March 23, 2018.

The follow-up to an amazing JRPG, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. This second venture takes place hundreds of years after the original title. You’ll play as Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, a displaced king who has set out to reclaim his kingdom. Along the way, he’ll join up with multiple allies, fight hordes of enemies and hopefully reclaim that his throne.

To celebrate the eventual release, a new featurette was released. As part of their ongoing series, Ni Ni no Kuni II – Behind the Scenes, this latest feature looks at the combat system, as well as building up your kingdom. We also get to see some new gameplay that wasn’t shown off before. Definitely, give it a watch if you’re looking forward to this game.

I have to say, this title caught me by surprise. I had a chance to check it out during E3 2017 and while the game wasn’t even on my radar, I have to say that I can’t wait to get some quality time with it now.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom releases on March 23, 2018, for the PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam).

Now that the game is finished, perhaps we’ll see a remaster or even a reprint of the original Ni no Kuni title. What do you say about that, Bandai Namco and Level 5?
