New Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer Shows Off The Monsters Inc. World

By Keith MitchellFebruary 10, 2018
Kingdom Hearts III

Say hello to Sully, Mike, and Boo

During Disney’s D23 Expo that’s taking place in Japan, a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer was released. This trailer showed off the Monsters Inc. World and gave us a look at Sully, Mike and super adorable, Boo. In addition, a new musical track from Kingdom Hearts 3 was previewed, from signer Hikaru Utadu. The very same person that gave the world simple and clean. I’m sure you’ve only heard that track a million times – and still loved it. You can check that out belong.

This first look at the Monsters Inc. showed off a world, that until now, was only available in the movies. Being a huge fan of Monsters Inc., I was completely blown away at how detailed and faithful it is to the film. But there’s more, as we also got a look at Monster Kora (which I’m still not sure of), Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled. Even Ariel from The Little Mermaid showed up.

Also, it could be just me, doesn’t the game look a bit more detailed? It definitely looks like the time it’s been taking to develop the game has been worth it. Can’t wait to get my hands on the game.

That new track from Hikaru Utada we talked about is called “Don’t Think Twice”. You can listen to this as many as you want, below. Might I say that it does conjure quite a bit of emotion. It’s like waiting for something that’s finally making its way to you. So it’s somewhat ironic.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in 2018. And no, there hasn’t been an announcement for either the PC or Nintendo Switch, as of yet.
