Batman time travels and becomes a ninja

WB Bros has just released a new English trailer for their upcoming animated feature, Batman Ninja.

Yes, I’m fully aware he looks like a samurai. Just run with it, ok?

When a handful of Batman’s greatest enemy, takes a trip to the past thanks to Gorilla Grood’s time displacement machine. Batman and his allies must follow them and return them to the present. However, when Batman and crew finally catch up with them, they have taken over most of feudal Japan. With most of his “wonderful toys” exhausted, Batman must rely on this cunning intellect and several of this allies, to take down the joker.

“Batman Ninja is an absolute feast for the senses, a stunning spectacle of anime wrapped around a thrill ride of a Batman story” “Our partners at Warner Bros. Japan have conjured an impressive addition to the Dark Knight’s canon of entertainment, taking Batman and his friends and foes in an altogether new direction. We can’t wait for fans to see this film. — Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President”

Batman Ninja features the talented voices of Roger Craig Smith (Batman), Grey Griffin (Catwoman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn), Fred Tatasciore (Gorilla Grodd), Yuri Lowenthal (Robin), Adam Croasdell (Nightwing/Alfred), Tom Kenny (Penguin), Will Friedle (Red Robin), Eric Bauza (Two-Face) and Tony Hale (Joker).
