Xbox Games With Gold For February 2018 Revealed

By Keith MitchellJanuary 26, 2018
Xbox Games with Gold - Feb 2018

It’s time to get ready for those upcoming Xbox Games with Gold titles for February 2018. And this time, we got a couple of (my favorites) in the bunch.

The following games will be free, starting on February 1st and 16th:

  • Shadow Warrior — February 1-28 (Xbox One)
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India — February 16 to March 15 (Xbox One)
  • Split/Second — February 1-15 (Xbox One, Xbox 360)
  • Crazy Taxi — February 16-28 (Xbox One, Xbox 360)

To tell you the truth, I’m surprised that both Crazy Taxi and Split /Second and being added. Crazy Taxi, one of my favorite SEGA arcade and Dreamcast titles. Loving that I’ll get the chance to play it again since I no longer have my Dreamcast copy and refused to get the Xbox 360. They changed the music (removed the Offspring music) and that bothered me a bit.

Then there’s Split/Second, a fantastic racing and one of best ones of this generation. Think of it as a Ridge Racer meets a Michael Bay movie. Explosions, courses that can be changed mid-race, crashes and tons of speed. The game even ended on a cliffhanger, as there was supposed to be a sequel – but that never happened. Disney shuttered the studio that created the game, Black Rock Studios.

Racing fans, do not miss out on this game – seriously.

Oh, Shadow Warrior and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India aren’t bad either. All in all, Feb. 2018 looks like a great month for Xbox Games with Gold. However, don’t forget to download the currently available games before Feb. comes around. Otherwise, you’ll lose out.
