This Is What Nintendo Looked Like Originally

By Todd BlackJanuary 23, 2018
Nintendo

They say to look forward, you have to sometimes look back at where you’ve been. When you think of Nintendo right now, what pops into your head? Is it the Switch? The 3DS? Your favorite franchise from the company? Maybe it’s the people who work in the offices in America or in Japan? Either way, whatever you’re thinking of now, it’s a far cry from where the Big N started out from 130 years ago.

The picture above is a photo of the actual birthplace of Nintendo. All the way back when Fusajiro Yamauchi founded the company, and it was making cards and small games (like toy games) and even toys.

The photo itself was found via the 150th photo collection that’s being put together to celebrate Kyoto, Japan. It makes you wonder, when the company was born all those years ago, what were their dreams? Did they EVER think they would get this far? Become this massive and popular? Would they believe us if we were somehow able to tell them?

Makes you think.
