Bridge Constructor Portal Will Confound You on December 20th

By LizLizDecember 6, 2017

This may come as a surprise to some, but the newest Portal game is a Bridge Constructor spinoff. Fans of Portal have been waiting for a new game since 2011. This might not be what we were looking for, but it does show that Valve is thinking of us. That’s good news since Valve isn’t really making games anymore. They handed this one off to Headup Games and ClockStone Software. Instead of another first-person teleporting puzzle adventure, the next Portal-branded title is a standalone spin-off of another series…. and for $10 I think that is ok. This is probably the most we are going to get out of this older franchise.

The following video can be found on Headup Games’s YouTube Channel:

Based on the trailer, I am not sure what to think but it does look fun. This is a weird union between two strange franchises. I’m going to keep an open mind about this.

The MacOS, Windows, and Linux versions will be $10 while the Android and iOS versions will sell for $5. Console release will be announced in 2018.
