Watch 17 Minutes Of The Agents of SHIELD Season Five Premiere

Season five is almost here

We’re still a few weeks away from the premiere of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season five. Bummed, I know. However, Marvel has decided to give us another sneak peek of the show. Today, they’ve released a 17-minute preview of the first season. Get hyped, this looks fantastic.

From the opening, we’re given a look at what happened that fateful night. When the team was taken “hostage” or “kidnapped”. Now we can see what happened at the end of Season four and what we’re in for in the upcoming season. Oddly enough, Fitz gets left behind because he’s “not on the list”. What list? Who made this list? Why was that guy taking off his skin? What the heck is going on?

Over the course of the preview, we introduced to two new characters. As well as the team, minus Fitz, getting back together. Mac “rescues” Coulson, Daily and Jemma are looking over a corpse who got sucked dry, and we see some character in a mask (that reminds me of Xorn) make an appearance. Poor May winds with a pipe stuck in her leg. Not sure how that happened. The only person who didn’t make an appearance is Daisy.

Oh, a monolith makes an appearance as well. You know, the same thing that transported Jemma to her hellish experience in season three. Mac punches someone the hell out and Jemma as a “not again moment”.

This is some pretty exciting stuff, and I’m pretty damned excited on what I’ve watched. Watched, over and over. But don’t take my word for it. Check out the 17-minute preview below.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD premieres on December 8th, 2017, on ABC. I suppose I should watch Netflix’s Punisher series to ease the pain of waiting.
