The Next Tekken 7 Character Is Noctis From Final Fantasy XV

By Keith MitchellNovember 12, 2017
Noctis invades Tekken 7

You got your Final Fantasy in my Tekken!

There’s been an influx of video game characters making appears in other games. So this bit of news shouldn’t be a surprise, but then again, maybe it is. Final Fantasy XV‘s own Noctis Lucis Caelum is the next upcoming character who’ll show up in Tekken 7.

Noctis invades Tekken 7

Following the appearance of Geese Howard from Fatal Fury and The King of Fighter‘s fame, Noctis will mix it up with characters from the Tekken universe.  In fact, he’s making the jump across universes all thanks to a call from a friend – Lars Alexandersson. He’ll be available as the third DLC for Tekken 7, sometime during Spring 2018. No word on the price, but he should be the same as the other DLC character. If you have the Tekken 7 Season Pass, he’ll be provided for free.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Noctis without his infamous blade. Not to worry, as he’ll be bringing it along with him, as well as his bag of other fantasy-driven attacks.  He even has his teleportation attack, that can be used in combos. I have to say that he definitely looks interesting.

But how the heck did Lars and Noctis even become friends in the first place?

Tekken 7 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
