Nintendo Switch Dominated Black Friday and Cyber Monday

By Todd BlackNovember 30, 2017
Nintendo Switch

Well, we kind of predicted it, but it’s nice to know that it came true. The Nintendo Switch has been on FIRE since it launched in March of this year, and to that end, the console has been selling out just about everywhere. But to many, they knew that Nintendo was banking on the Switch delivering during the two Black Friday weekends of the holiday season. And oh boy, did they deliver in round one.

According to Business Insider, the Nintendo Switch was the most popular and best-selling product on the internet for both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. And by “best-selling”, we mean across ALL products, not just video games. This is very impressive, especially since there wasn’t a sale going on for the Switch.

While exact figures aren’t out yet, this will no doubt boost the Switch into even higher numbers of sales, including getting it closer to 10 million, which it was already getting near by the time November arrived.

The only question now will be, with the leadup to Christmas already under how, how much with the console sell before the year ends?
