Boston Holding Splatoon 2 LAN Tournament November 4th-5th

By Todd BlackNovember 3, 2017
Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 has been one of the biggest hits on the Nintendo Switch so far. In fact, during the recent Nintendo financial briefing, the game was revealed to be the #3 best selling game on Switch with 3.62 million copies sold since July.

So, we really shouldn’t be surprised that Nintendo is promoting some special events that happen to feature Splatoon 2, such as a LAN tournament that’ll be happening in Boston, Massachutes tomorrow and Sunday. Here are the details straight from the Squid Research Lab:

“Hosted at the Balance Patch Gaming Cafe in Boston, they’re bringing two full days of inking action, including members of Set To Destroy X (previously Deadbeat), which won the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational! We just received word that it will actually feature 35 teams, the largest LAN tournament in North America!”

What’s more, even if you’re not in the Boston area, you can watch the tournament as it’s streamed live on Twitch here.

If you ARE in Boston though, you can still join the event, or at the very least be a spectator. Go here or here for details on that.

So, are you nearby? Do you think you’ll head to the tournament? Or do you think you’ll watch it on Twitch? Let us know!
