Bandai Namco Bringing 3 Exclusive Games To Switch!

By Todd BlackNovember 7, 2017
Bandai Namco

It seems like every other day we’re hearing more and more news about whether 3rd party developers are going to put titles on the Nintendo Switch. More are overwhelmingly saying “Yes!” to this question, but a few are saying “no.” But then, there are also those who have been caught off guard by the success of the Switch, and are trying to catch up on things. One of these is Bandai Namco.

Despite having a great relationship with Nintendo (they even helped with Super Smash Bros. on Wii U), they’ve only put three titles on the Switch so far. But, Wall Street Journal writer Takashi Mochizuki has said that during a financial briefing, Bandai Namco President Mitsuaki Taguchi said that the company was diverting more resources to Switch development.

In fact, he said that there would be three Switch-exclusive titles coming worldwide between Spring and Summer of next year.

“We have put out three games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well,” Taguchi said. “It’s a shame, but we didn’t think the Switch [would] be accept this fast.”

So, let the speculation begin! What games would Bandai Namco make only for Nintendo that have worldwide appeal? Let us know YOUR thoughts in the comments below.
