Ninja Theory To Help Promote World Mental Health Day

While Ninja Theory’s first published title, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, was a smashing success, it was more than a game. It was a title that touched on the issues of mental health and how the human mind can be affected – for better or worse. Something that sadly doesn’t seem to get the proper attention it should. So as you can imagine, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, definitely hit home for a lot of people. The protagonist of the title herself suffered from psychosis. And the entire game was built around it

But Ninja Theory isn’t finished there. In fact, they’re going to be donating all proceeds from Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice sales that occur tomorrow. Tomorrow, Oct. 10th,2017, is Mental Health Day and Ninja Theory wants to help promote this day. The proceeds will be donated to Rethink Mental Illness, mental health charity.

Rethink Mental Illness exists to support and campaign for those severely affected by mental illness. They help millions of people affected by mental illness by challenging attitudes and changing lives. We are delighted to be supporting this important work with this donation.

Of course, you don’t need to wait for Oct 10th to roll around. You can head to Rethink’s website right now and donate to a worthy cause.

If you haven’t played Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, you can pick up a copy for the PS4 or PC.  But if you do plan on doing so, do it tomorrow!
