Are You Ready For Star Wars Battlefront II?

By Yhani JonesSeptember 30, 2017
Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront II will be on shelves and downloadable to play in less than two months. As we get closer to its release date, November 17th, more exciting details about the game have been revealed.

More than a decade ago, Star Wars Battlefront, the action-packed combat shooter, was made available for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 consoles back in 2004. Fast forward to 2015, and the game gets a new look after the development team over at EA DICE chose to pick up and reboot the Battlefront franchise.

This updated version of Star Wars Battlefront featured an array of multiplayer game modes for online play. Aside from this, there were also offline game modes including waves and split screen multiplayer to play at various difficulties with a friend.

Though Star Wars Battlefront includes a wide range of maps and modes, later expanded with season pass DLC, many players wanted to experience a story within the Star Wars universe that everyone knows and loves. Fortunately, EA DICE listened to the fans and with the announcement of Star Wars Battlefront II at EA’s E3 conference, we found out that this sequel would indeed feature the single player campaign that everyone was hoping for.

In addition to the exciting new campaign, Star Wars Battlefront II is introducing class style gameplay. This means that roles can be assigned to each member on a squad to effectively defeat the opponent. The classes available are: Assault, Heavy, Specialist, and Officer, each including special abilities and weapons to choose from. Check out more of what will be featured in the upcoming sequel below.

We have certainly come a long way from the original Star Wars Battlefront game released two console generations ago. The graphics shown in the Star Wars Battlefront II trailer look amazing and I have a strong feeling that the new features and additions made since the previous title will be appreciated by fans that love the game.

Don’t forget, the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II early access multiplayer beta begins next week on October 4th for those that pre-ordered the game. Afterwards, the open beta will begin on October 6th and will come to a close October 9th. If you are looking to get your hands on this game early, be sure to pre-order your copy of the game today!
