Nintendo and Yacht Club Games knew they had a good thing when they figured released the Shovel Knight amiibo. I mean, everyone ran out and picked one up, regardless if they had the game or not. Well, it looks like we’re ready for round two as there are more Shovel Knight amiibos on the way.
Introducing the Shovel Knight Treasure Trove 3-pack, which includes Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and King Knight. They are looking pretty spiffy, especially Specter Knight.
In addition to looking cool, each amiibo will unlock exclusive armors for the in-game avatars. Since these are simply cosmetic, you can mix and match them with the other armor sets in the game. They also will unlock a new Challenge Stage and even summon fairy companions that are usable during the game’s campaign.
Players will be able to use these new amiibo in the Nintendo Switch, 3DS and even the Wii U versions of Shovel Knight Treasure Trove. Sadly, there is no ETA on when we can expect to see these in stores. But if you happen to see them at your local gaming store, or online – make sure you grab em.
