Fire Emblem Warriors Adds Lyn

Fire Emblem Warriors has gotten a lot of scrutiny because of its cast of characters from only three Fire Emblem games. Also though, many of the characters revealed are sword users, so that made many feel this game was unbalanced. Well, during today’s Nintendo Direct, a new character was revealed to be joining the game, and as of right now, she’ll be one of a kind. It’s…

LYN!

That’s right, the first female main protagonist of the Fire Emblem series has just entered the hack-n-slash world of Fire Emblem Warriors. And as the sole representative (for now) of Blazing Sword, we couldn’t have gotten a better pick. Lyn is one the most beloved characters in Fire Emblem history, so much so that she was the character that got the most votes in the Fire Emblem Heroes Choose Your Legends event. And it was by a wide margin mind you (Ike was second place for the record).

Now, to be fair, this doesn’t help the sword user situation, but, it’s LYN!!!!! We can cut her some slack, because if we don’t, she’ll cut us to pieces.

Fire Emblem Warriors is set to arrive on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch on October 20th.
