Dragon’s Crown Heads To The PS4 And Gets 4K Support

By Keith MitchellSeptember 19, 2017

Atlus’s and Vanillaware amazing 2D brawler, Dragon’s Crown, is getting a PlayStation 4 upgrade. Dragon’s Crown Pro will be playable on the PS4, with upgraded graphical options – including 4K support. In addition, the title will support cross-play with the original PlayStation 3 and PS Vita copies. So you’ll be able to play with others who already picked up this gem before.

That’s not all as the entire soundtrack has been redone by a live orchestra. I can almost hear that beautiful music right now.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will be released in  Japan on January 25, 2018. Currently, there isn’t any word on if we’ll see this released in North America. That said, the game has a huge following over here, so I suspect we’ll see it eventually. And if not, you can always import it.

Dragon’s Crown is right up there for me when it comes to amazing 2D brawlers. I can’t wait until this is released on the PS4, so I can play it all over again. Sure I could play it on my PlayStation 3, but died a long time ago.
