Redeem Steam Codes Right From Your Browser

It’s about time this happened!

Ever run into that problem where you have that nice and new Steam code, but you aren’t near your PC to input it? Maybe you’re at an event where codes were being given out. Perhaps you just purchased a game from your favorite online store. Or maybe you won a code via the internet. Normally you’d have to wait til you got home or at least install Steam on some strange and unfamiliar PC. Well, those days are over as you can now redeem Steam codes via your favorite web browser.

Well, those days are over as you can now redeem Steam codes via your favorite web browser. It’s a handy function and it makes one wonder what took Valve so long to implement this.

Activating the codes is really easy as well. All you have to do is head over to Steam, log in with your account info and that’s it.

You’ll be presented with a screen that looks like this. Just pop in the code, click continue and you’re off.

Once you’re done, just click done to finish up, or activate more if you have more keys to redeem.

This is definitely a handy feature to have and it brings Steam alongside what consoles games have been able to do with the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
