Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kindom Gets A New Trailer Ahead Of Gamescom 2017

By Keith MitchellAugust 18, 2017

With Gamescom 2017 just under a week away, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the upcoming JRPG, Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM. This new trailer focuses on the character Roland, as he is transported from Ichi no Kuni, which happens to be the hometown of Oliver from the original No ni Kuni. It seems that Roland will become a close companion of our new protagonist, Evan Pettywhisker and it has been speculated that he shares some sort of relationship with Oliver.

The trailer also introduces us to Nerea, the queen of the land of Thalassea and her advisor, Leander. This is the first that we’ve seen either of these two characters. That said, the trailer is definitely beautiful if only just a tease of what lies in store for everyone once the game is released. The title will also be available for some hands-on at Gamescom 2017, so I’m sure we’ll see and hear more impressions about the game.

Ni no Kuni II: REVENANT KINGDOM releases on Jan. 19th, 2018, for PC and PlayStation 4. The title was originally scheduled for a Q4 2017 release but has been pushed back.
