SDCC 2017 – Shout! Factory Delays Megaranger to October; Announces Gingaman DVD Release

Super Sentai fans have something to look forward to in 2018, as the source material for Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Seijuu Sentai Gingaman will see an international release.

Friday evening during their San Diego Comic-Con panel, SHOUT! Factory announced that Gingaman is the next in line to come to the Americas on DVD, following the delayed Denji Sentai Megaranger. Megaranger, which was slated for a summer release, has been pushed back to Halloween 2017 due to a production issue.

Gingaman, the 22nd Super Sentai series aired in 1998 and chronicles the newly selected warriors of the Ginga Forest as they fight against the evil Barban Space Pirates. Gingaman was then adapted by Saban Entertainment as the first in the Post-Zordon era of Power Rangers, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

In addition, SHOUT! Factory announced that they will be releasing the third Digimon Adventure tri. movie in both Japanese with English subs and English dub.
