Horizon Gets New Game+ Mode and More in Today’s Update

By VeronicaJuly 6, 2017
Horizon Zero Dawn

Guerrilla Games has announced new features for Horizon Zero Dawn while we wait for The Frozen Wilds DLC. Today’s update will fix small bugs but also bring a few big changes. A ‘New Game +’ mode is now available for players who have completed Horizon, which allows you to restart Aloy’s adventure while keeping your inventory, shards, and level (up until the level cap at 50). In addition, an ‘ultra hard’ difficulty setting was added in the patch, which will “enhance machine senses and behavior”.

The patch also brings more in-game content and character customization options. Weapons merchants will now sell more advanced versions of existing weapons. Players may also add facepaint and change Aloy’s Focus piece.

Guerrilla continues to update and support Horizon, and the latest patch brings some exciting features. A New Game + mode was expected, but the extra content and customization is a welcome bonus. Now we wait for more news on The Frozen Wilds DLC, which is expected to release by the end of the year.
