While Gundam Versus already was announced for a July release date in Japan, Bandai Namco was quiet about the North American release date. That is until now, as they’ve officially announced a North American release date of September 29th, 2017.
I know right, that’s definitely exciting news. Sure, it’s two months after the Japanese release, but at least it’s coming over. For those unaware of what Gundam Versus is, it is a built from the ground up, exclusive Gundam fighting title for the PlayStation 4. Pick your favorite mobile suit from just about every Gundam anime series and fight against others in frantic 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3 battles. Having played the title for a brief moment at E3 2017, I was completely blown away with the sheer about of mechs available. Trust me, if you’re a fan of Gundam, you’re really going to enjoy this. The action is very similar to Virtual On, but with more robust mechanics. Take part in Ranged battles, in close combat, mecha transformations and more await you in Gundam Versus.
I just can’t wait to get my hands on the title again.
