Future Trunks Finally Makes His Dragon Ball FighterZ Appearance

By Keith MitchellJuly 16, 2017

While we already knew that Future Trunks was set to join the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster, we haven’t seen him in action. That is until today, as Bandai Namco took the stage after the Tekken 7 grand final at EVO 2017 and finally gave us a look at the sword wielding Saiyan’s trailer. And he literally looks like someone ripped him from the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super anime.

The recent trailer gives us a look at many of his attacks and I’d be lying if I didn’t say he looks really impressive in action. Based on what we’ve seen so far, I’d wager that he is another rush in character, similar to how Gohan is currently. He’s fast, closes distances really quick and that sword gives him some added range on his attacks. Poor Frieza didn’t know what hit him. I just wonder if he’ll get his Super Saiyan Rage/Super Saiyan Anger from Dragon Ball Super as his transformation move.

C’mon Bandai Namco, please give him that transformation – pretty please!

I can’t wait til the beta drops or New York Comic Con so that I can get some more hands-on with the title.

Dragon Ball FighterZ doesn’t have a release date yet but will hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There may even be some chance that the title may even make it to the Nintendo Switch.
