Is this really Final Fantasy XV?
Truth be told, I haven’t even gotten 12 hours into Final Fantasy XV. It’s not that it’s a bad game, I just wasn’t a fan of it. However, with the announcement of the Final Fantasy XV Episode Prompto DLC coming out on June 27th, 2017, I may have to revisit the title.
Seriously, this looks damned good. In this upcoming DLC, Prompto, who many consider being the comedy relief and the weakest of the FFXV boyband, becomes separated. Lost, alone and scared, he accidentally stumbles onto his origins and ends up at home sweet home. But damn if this isn’t the coolest thing that could happen to him.
In the trailer, he’s seen riding a snowmobile (and getting some serious air) touting a pair of guns and even blasting away with a bazooka. Honestly, it’s giving me a Metal Gear Solid vibe and that’s a good thing. Oh and Aranea’s it also.
All we need to hear now is “Prompto, I am your Father!”. Yeah, I may need to revisit this game after all. Final Fantasy XV Episode Prompto releases on June 27th, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
