E3 2017 – Dontnod Reveals More Gameplay for Vampyr

By Yhani JonesJune 13, 2017

Back at Gamescom in fall of 2016, we got a look at Dontnod’s latest title, Vampyr. As time passed, we began to learn more and more about this dark action RPG as E3 teased fans with an exciting cinematic trailer.

In this game you will play as Dr. Jonathan Reid, a man sworn to save the sick yet after turning into a vampire, struggles to embrace his new cravings. As a vampire, Reid must balance his supernatural urges with his oath. Dontnod has recently released an extended gameplay demo, complete with developer narration. Take a look at the gameplay tour footage below.

Keep in mind that every life will indeed have a butterfly effect on the other NPCs surrounding them. Killing too many people in a given area may cause its infrastructure to collapse and turn into disarray. This means that every life you take away will have consequences for the city and the people around them. This game looks great and we can’t wait to for its release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year in November.

There are always pre-order goodies to look forward to! For Vampyr, those that pre-order the game will get a bonus DLC “The Hunter Heirlooms” which includes two weapons and a special outfit for Dr. Reid. Be sure to visit the games website for more information on the game and pre-order details.
