Holy Shit, Are Those Tekken 7 PC Requirements For Real?

By Keith MitchellMay 22, 2017

The Tekken 7 PC requirements are now posted over at the Steam page and they’re tamer than I originally thought. The minimum specs are quite low, calling for a GTX 660 and an Intel i3-4160 or AMD equivalent. The recommended specs are a bit higher, but not by much either. For those wanting to run Tekken 7 at 1080p/1440p @60fps, the recommended specs apply to you.

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz or equivalent
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 750Ti 2GB, or equivalent
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 60 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5 GHz or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 equivalent or higher
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 60 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX compatible soundcard or onboard chipset

Now, if you want to run the game at 4K, that’s a whole nother story. Nvidia is stating that for that magical 4K mark, you’re going to need either a GTX 1080 Ti or have at least a GTX 1080 and enable Dynamic Adjustment. Still, the payoff is worth it, I can’t stop watching this game in action at 4K. It just looks so damned good!

Tekken 7 releases June 2nd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Which system are you picking it up on? Let us know in the comments below!
