Overwatch’s D.Va Now Playable On Heroes Of The Storm’s PTR

By Keith MitchellMay 8, 2017

Overwatch’s D.Va is now available for play in Heroes of the Storm public test realm. She’ll be the fifth Overwatch character to join the game and will be right at home with Genji, Zarya, Lucio, and Tracer. Oddly enough, our very own Clinton Bowman was talking up the announcement last night. Little did we know we’d see D.Va in Blizzard’s MOBA this soon.

Blizzard has put out a new video that outlines how D.VA will play in Heroes of the Storm. Judging from that video and the Heroes of the Storm blog, D.VA will still play as a tank class, with a few upgrades. She’ll have an ability where she can use her boosters to increase her speed and remove any movement impairments. She’ll still have her defense matrix, call mech and self-destruct as well. So it seems like she’ll still be as pesky as ever.

That said, Blizzard hasn’t announced when she’ll be available for regular play. But for now, be sure to hit up the PTR and try her out.

Don’t forget, you still have time to earn your the Overwatch Officer D.Va skin, by playing the Heroes of the Storm 2.0 Nexus Challenge.
