Persona 5 Has Shipped Over 1.5 Million Copies

By Keith MitchellApril 7, 2017

While Persona 5 was only released only a few days ago in North America and Europe, it’s already setting records. In fact, Atlus as announced that the game has shipped over 1.5 million copies worldwide. That’s damned impressive if you ask me, especially for a title that’s considered niche.

To celebrate this, Atlus will be hosting a live Persona concert that will take place in Yokohama, Japan, on August 2nd, 2017. No word on if this concert will be streamed or not. Atlus has stated that more news will be released about that later.

I have to admit, that despite this being my first Persona title, I’m loving it. More so that several other RPG’s that I won’t name. Heck, I’ve already logged 10 hours on it, and that was my first sitting. Kind of makes me regret that I haven’t played the others in the series. But don’t you worry as once I’m done with Persona 5, I’ll be heading back to check out the others.

Persona 5 is now available in North America for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. And despite the various delays, the title is easily more than worth the wait.

Expect our review of Persona 5 in the upcoming week.
