A New Star Wars: Battlefront II Trailer Appears To Announce Another One?

By Keith MitchellApril 14, 2017

Previously there was a leaked PlayStation Star Wars: Battlefront II trailer, that was pulled. Sometime later, EA uploaded a teaser trailer onto YouTube.  However, this doesn’t exactly resemble the trailer from before.  Well, you can see for yourself below.

This is the original trailer.

And this is the newly released trailer.

As you can see, the newer teaser trailer is a bit shorter and does show nearly as much as the leaked one. The other difference is that the newer trailer eludes to an official reveal which will have gameplay tomorrow, April 15th, 2017.

Hopefully what we see in the next trailer isn’t just the same leaked trailer as that would be mildly disappointing.

That said, looking at the leaked trailer, it states that the footage we saw was in-game footage. I really hope that’s the case as it looked great. And since it was a PlayStation trailer, I can only speculate that the footage from was from The PS4 Pro. Either way, we’ll find out more on April 15th, 2017, at 2:30 PM EDT.

Lastly, I’m not a fan of this whole “trailer for another trailer announcement” stuff. I feel this is bad for the industry and it really needs to stop. That’s just my two cents, take it for what it’s worth. How can you really get hyped for a trailer, that’s going to be a segway for another trailer?
