Let’s Go Away With Daytona USA On Xbox One

By Keith MitchellMarch 22, 2017

The King of Arcade racing is back!

One of SEGA’s most well-known and respected racing games, Daytona USA, is now playable on Xbox One! Through the magic of Microsoft’s backward compatibility, gamers are now able to play the remake of Daytona USA from on Xbox One. And after getting in a few hundred laps, I have to say that this title is basically flawless on the Xbox One.

The framerate is great, the gameplay is just as crisp and fluid as I remember and overall it’s a fun experience. If you don’t already own the title, you can pick it up for $10 on the Xbox store.

For those who thought we’d never see this happening, well it’s here!

Now I don’t have to plug up the Xbox 360 to play this gem anymore. Thanks to the Microsoft’s backward compatibility, I’m getting closer and closer to retiring the Xbox 360 for good. Now if we could only get Outrun, SEGA Rally Online and Hard Corps: Uprising , I’d be in heaven.

So get to it, Microsoft!
