By Keith MitchellFebruary 13, 2017
Legend of Zelda Breath Of The Wild

Nintendo has announced that they will be hosting a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild panel at GDC 2017. Hidemaro Fujibayashi, Satoru Takizawa, and Takuhiro Dohta will be hosting the panel, which is being called “Change and Constant – Breaking Conventions with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.

The panel will look at what influenced the design of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It will be focused on how this latest entry differs from the rest, what’s new and other new ideas that went into the creation of the game.

This panel will take place on March 1st, 2017, at 11AM, during GDC 2017.   This happens to be two days prior to the release of the Nintendo Switch. For those who are not attending GDC, a video of the panel will be available at http://www.gdcvault.com the following week.
