Injustice 2 Unveils New Characters With “Here Comes The Girls” Trailer

Here come the girls! And in grand style might I add. While it’s true we’ve already had confirmations of female characters in Injustice 2, that hasn’t stopped Netherrealm Studios from cranking it up to 11. Not only did they shine more focus on the recently revealed Black Canary, but they decided to confirm three more female characters too!

Catoman, Cheetah, and Poison Ivy are officially confirmed for Injustice 2, and the video below shows them in all their glory.

Of the 4, only Catwoman was in the original Injustice game, although, Black Canary played a big part in the Injustice comic series. Poison Ivy was teased early on in the Injustice trailers, so fans knew it was just a matter of time before she made her epic appearance. Fun fact, she’s voiced by Tasia Valenza, who did Poison Ivy in the Arkham series.

The real surprise here is Cheetah, who was not teased or shown in the previous game in any way (Black Canary made a small cameo via a picture). She’s one of the few memorable enemies of Wonder Woman that isn’t a deity, and is known for being a very primal fighter. It’s very cool to see her get due in Injustice 2.

So, who’s next? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. There have been teases as to who could be next to get unveiled. But if this video proves anything, you never know who to expect.
