New Injustice 2 Story Trailer Released; Will Get Three Different Editions

By Keith MitchellJanuary 17, 2017

Definitely look like things aren’t getting better in Injustice 2. The heroes are still fighting against each other, and now thanks to the new story trailer, we see several new characters joining the fray.

The first is Brainiac, the knowledge crazed being that wants to keep everything to himself. His reveal sets him up to be the baddie in Injustice 2, which is surprising. We also see the introduction of Darkseid, who sadly is a pre-order exclusive.  Sure, he’s finally playable, but you have to pre-order the game to get him.

Might I add that I really hate when companies put characters into games as pre-order, only.

In addition, we see in the trailer that the game will receive three different versions; Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate.  The standard will simply include the game, deluxe adds 3 DLC characters and 1 premier skin, while ultimate adds 9 DLC characters and 3 premier skins. Injustice 2 standard edition will be priced at $59.99, no word on the deluxe or ultimate prices just yet.
